I’m Hanya Khalid, a 17-year-old from Pakistan, passionate about debating real-world issues. With 5-6 Model United Nations (MUNs) in my experience, I’ve honed my communication skills and networked effectively. My focus lies in committees like COP28 and UNEP, aligning with my interest in addressing environmental issues. Beyond MUNs, I engage in sustainability events, combining my love for nature exploration with a commitment to spreading awareness for a sustainable future.

Yafat Andenet – Co Chair

Yafet Andenet Admassu, a Year 10 student at St. Mary’s Catholic High School Dubai, and his Model UN journey began in 2021. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Yafet’s commitment to online MUNs has been unwavering. As the Deputy Secretary General of his school’s MUN group, he’s excited to chair at Al Maaref Private School MUN 2024 and meet the enthusiastic COP28 delegates!
